We believe that “before the final visitation of God’s judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times (GC464)". We realize that “A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs” (1 SM 121). We also realize that this revival of faith has to be the foremost work. As we anticipate the time when this revival of the faith is realized around the whole earth, we also understand that we need renewed awareness of the messages that need to be preached today.
After the resurrection of Jesus in 2000 years ago, the disciples were convinced that the prophecies found in the writings of Moses and the prophets had been achieved and they submitted themselves to strengthening their faith in the Lord. In a similar way, people during the last days will ardently pray and will have strong trust and faith in the Lord, in part due to better understanding of the 14th chapter of Revelations. This revival of faith, which has been foreseen by people impressed through the Holy Spirit, must be accomplished. In order to spread this spirit of repentance and prayer, it is essential for us to understand and accept our mission today.
